Mamaearth Onion hair Serum Review

Monsoon is the season when I tend to have the most amout of hairfall. So, I started using mamaearth Onion hair Serum for the past one and a half months and the experience has been good. Reading the label 'Onion Serum' made me think maybe it is a serum to appply on the roots but as the directions
mention that you gotta apply the liquid on the strands instaed of the roots. Sounds good!
I purchased this bottle from Amazon India (cause who does not want a free home delivery). The bottle is cylindrical in nature and is made of plastic. It is fitted with a pump and a cap which is very helpful when it comes to hair serums. It is quite handy and travel friendly. Spill proof (thank god!) . I've had horrible experiences before where I've carried my serum bottle in a bag and it spilled over. Jeez!
The liquid is transparent. It has a cool/soothing feel. It is dense and not runny. And the essence is quite nice. Once you apply it on your hair, the essence stays for quite some time.
I have been applying it once daily or every 2 days. According to the directions, applying it on towel dried hair will fetch best results. But to be honest, washing hair everyday is not possible for everyone. So mosly, I apply it on my dry dair. The good thing is that it is not sticky/oily. The serums gets absorbed quite well. One thing that bugs me a little is that after applying it, my hair tends to be a bit dry. After an hour or two, the texture goes back to normal. Maybe that's why applying on towel dried hair is the best option. Has it reduced hair breakage ? Yes. It hasn't completely stopped but it has reduced. It has made my hair soft which I really love. How long will one bottle go ? It depends on your hair density, and how frequently you apply the product. On an average, one bottle should cover atleast a month, if you're applying daily. Overall experience of using mamaearth Onion Hair Serum was great!
